šA person was hospitalized following a bear attack in a remote area of Wabakimi Provincial Park in northwestern Ontario on Wednesday morning. Emergency crews were called to the scene, north of Thunder Bay, around 8:30 a.m., according to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). Upon arrival, the bear had already left the area. Officers found an individual with non-life-threatening injuries who was subsequently transported to the hospital by EMS for treatment.
