👉An anti-fraud investigation involving police from Quebec, Ontario, and the United States has resulted in the arrest of 14 individuals connected to a "grandparent scam" that allegedly defrauded Canadians of $2.2 million since February 2022. The suspects, aged 24 to 34, recently relocated from Toronto to Montreal and Laval, according to Sûreté du Québec (SQ) Sgt. Benoit Dubé.
