๐Residents near Torontoโs Barbara Hall Park, located in the Church-Wellesley neighborhood, are urging the city to address escalating safety issues in the area. Known for its splash pad, off-leash dog area, and AIDS memorial, the park has faced increasing problems with drug use, violence, and unsanitary conditions. An analysis of Toronto Police Service data reveals 1,831 calls for service between January 2019 and April 2024, averaging almost one call per day. Daniel Perozzo, a nearby resident, notes the park quickly deteriorates after city clean-ups. The police calls were documented through a freedom of information request by a Toronto resident. ๐๐จ๐ฆ @manojkaratha_realtor . . #TorontoSafety #BarbaraHallPark #ChurchWellesley #CommunityConcerns #UrbanSafety #PolicePatrols #PublicSafety #mnm #malayalisnearmeapp #canadaupdate #canadanews
