British Columbia PNP On a weekly basis, British Columbia conducts a Provincial Nominee Program draw. 164 candidates received invitations under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program on July 12. The candidates must fulfill the qualifications for skilled immigration or British Columbia's Express Entry in order to receive an invitation through a general draw, and hence 132 applicants got invitations. The mechanism for tracking candidates' points, is known as the Skills and Immigration Registration System (SIRS). The candidates received an invitation to the three main categories: the skilled worker category, the International graduate category, and the Entry-level and semi-skilled category. A minimum score of 78-130 is required to get an invitation in these categories. Occupation target is also holding for the past few weeks to meet the labor shortage. The occupation in which draw was conducted are the following: Less than five healthcare assistants (NOC 3413),22 early childhood educators (NOC 4214), five veterinarians and animal health technologists (NOC 3114 and NOC 3213) scored 60 points 10 healthcare professionals had scores of at least 70.
