Ontario's Latest Draw Targets Tech Workers, Invites 2,118 Candidates for Permanent Residency

✅In the second draw of the week, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) conducted a draw on February 8, 2024, issuing invitations to 2,118 candidates under the Human Capital Priorities (HCP) stream. This draw specifically targeted candidates with work experience in Tech occupations, including roles such as Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Web Designers. Only individuals with experience in one of the 15 specified Tech occupations were eligible for invitations. Those selected may apply for permanent residency under the OINP HCP stream, with invitations sent to candidates identified from the federal Express Entry pool.
